What is a speech class?
This class is for children 18 months to 3 years old. Children may have possible speech delays, currently receiving speech services or are typically developing. The class focuses on giving parents strategies to encourage communication through play. Half of the class will be led by a Speech Language Pathologist and teach the strategy for that week. The second half will include 2 Speech Language Pathologists and your children to implement that week’s strategy through play. Workbooks will be provided to parents so you can continue to practice at home.

How much does it cost?
The cost is $270 for 6 sessions. Payment is due in full before the first class.
When is the class?
Dates are Wednesdays at 10:00AM on January 10th, 17th, 21st, 31st, February 7th and 14th, 2024. They will last 1 hour.
How many people will be there?
A minimum of 2 child/parent groups are needed to start the class, there is a maximum of 5 sets.
I have more than 1 child, can they come?
Only 1 child and 1 caregiver may attend.
What if I miss a class?
We do not offer make up classes, however, the sessions will be video recorded, and you may watch the session you missed.
If a parent is unable to attend another may fill in, however only 1 parent and 1 child are permitted to attend each session.
What if I have specific questions about my child?
This class includes overall strategies for language development. If you would like an individual session, you may schedule a screener or an evaluation.
